Today Apple Pay is now available for TSB customers to make secure and convenient contactless and online payments.
TSB customers are now able to register their Debit Mastercard and Credit Mastercard on compatible Apple Devices – iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch – and start making transactions using Apple Pay.
Nick Herbert, GM Product and Marketing, says TSB is thrilled to offer Apple Pay to our customers.
“We know our customers will be excited to use Apple Pay in their everyday lives. There has been strong demand from our customers for Apple Pay, and we’re thrilled to offer this convenient, safe and secure way to make contactless payments in stores and online.
“Offering Apple Pay shows we are evolving our digital proposition, enhancing the customer experience, and meeting the needs and expectations people have of a modern-day, customer-focused bank.
“Many teams throughout TSB have worked hard on delivering Apple Pay, and offering this service along with our award-winning cards, customer service and everyday banking products is another step toward achieving our vision of being the easiest bank to deal with,” says Nick.
Apple Pay provides a safer alternative to physical cards by requiring Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode for purchases on Apple Devices. It does not share your card number or identity with merchants. Your card numbers are not stored on your device or Apple servers, and Apple does not retain transaction information. You can learn more about the security features of Apple Pay here.
Apple Pay is easy to set up. To get started, you’ll need the TSB iOS app (which you can download here). Open up the TSB app and tap Card Manager, tap ‘Add to Apple Wallet’ on the card you want to add to Apple Pay, follow the prompts to complete the process and you’re ready to make a purchase.
