Confirmation of Payee will also affect those wanting to be paid. To get paid quickly and easily, you need to provide the right account information.
What do I need to provide
to receive payment?
The account details you provide to the person or business who is trying to pay you will be checked against the actual name on your account.
You will need to provide your full first name and last name associated with the account number to the person paying you.
If the person paying you does not have your correct details, they will receive a ‘partial’ or 'no match' response. The notification will prompt them to contact you for the correct details or caution them against proceeding with payment without verification. This may stop or slow down the payment.

Using the correct name on your accounts will mean people paying you get a ‘match’, which will help you get paid quickly and easily.
For TSB customers, this will be your full first and last name. You do not have to share your middle name(s) to the person paying you.
